摘要: performed. Thirty-two patients (59.3%) were male and 22 (40.7%) female. The mean median ages of the 54 14 months (6 days-17 years), respectively. Twenty-six (48.1%) under 1 year age. most common indication for tracheotomy was prolonged intubation (87%), followed by upper airway obstruction (13%). Five (9.2%) underwent semiurgent settings. overall complication rate 29.6% (16/54). Early complications occurred in 7 (13%), including accidental decannulation 2 patients, subcutaneous emphysema 4 hemorrhage patient. Late 9 (16.7%) (stomal granulation stomal infection patients). Eight (14.8%) decannulated successfully. No tracheotomy-related deaths occurred, with an mortality 27.7% (15/54).
