Vectorial secretion of extracellular matrix proteins, matrix-degrading proteinases, and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases by endothelial cells

摘要: In a study of the vectorial secretion proteins by bovine aortic arch endothelial cells, we found that extracellular matrix macromolecules collagen and fibronectin as well several matrix-degrading metalloproteinases were secreted selectively in basal direction. contrast, tissue inhibitor showed only weak preference for Three at 18-35 kDa with apically, counter to approximately 70% total protein. As expected, rabbit synovial fibroblasts, which used control, proteins, including collagen, gelatin-degrading proteinases, casein-degrading equally apical directions. The fibronectin, gelatinases, cells suggests structural functional polarity these is manifested, part, level polarized matrix-related proteins.
