摘要: Labour pain is the result of many complex interactions. Although not fully determined, arises from distension lower uterine segment and cervical dilatation. The neural mechanism labour has some features similar to other forms acute pain; nociceptive information relayed in small A delta C afferent fibres dorsal horn spinal cord, mediated by neurotransmitters; there it may be involved initiation segmental reflexes or pass through spinothalamic tract brain. Many factors are activated during which modify nocioceptive impulse at different stages its passage. Some these act synergistically promote anti-nociception that peaks delivery.
