摘要: Forty-four isolates of Acinetobacter calcoaceticus var anitratus collected during hospital outbreaks were studied using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE), plasmid analysis, antibiograms and biochemical tests to determine their degree similarity. Reproducibility also carried out on the PAGE techniques validity when used compare bacteria same type isolated intermittently. data was analysed densitometrically compared a similarity matrix. All methods able subdivide isolates, but results did not always correlate well between methods. indicated that careful attention technique is required organisms are examined by sequentially. Results suggest no single biotyping likely be adequate electrophoretic, antibiogram may complement one another other epidemiological in typing these organisms.
