摘要: In the last 25 years, outbreaks of Acinetobacter infection have been a growing concern in hospitals (Bergogne-Berezin et al., 1987, this volume; Noble, volume). These infections can be difficult to treat since strains are commonly resistant multiple antimicrobial agents. 1986 taxonomy genus was changed extensively. At least 19 DNA hybridisation groups now delineated (Bouvet and Grimont, 1986; Nishimura 1988; Bouvet Jeanjean, 1989; Tjernberg Ursing, 1989) five new species described: A. baumannii, haemolyticus, junii, johnsonii radioresistens. addition, original descriptions calcoaceticus lwoffii emended (Grimont,
