摘要: This paper presents the results of a study conducted at rural (island) community to understand role PV hybrid system installed on an island. Until 2004, most islanders had diesel generators in their homes generate electricity, which was directly supplied appliances or stored batteries for later use. A field survey carried out user satisfaction island community. The attitude mostly positive. can use more supply meet demand. comparison pollutions before and after installation made along with interviews users. data show that users are highly satisfied reduce environmental impact, especially air noise pollutions. New opportunities as result access electric service include studying reading night were not possible earlier. All importantly, no one found life worse compared earlier state affairs.
