摘要: Abstract We report the first results obtained from high energy resolution beam line at storage ring ELETTRA of Trieste. The has been designed to perform photoemission experiments in vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) and soft X-ray (SXR) range. radiation source is an undulator which consists three sections, with 36 periods a period length 12.5 cm. It allows scanning range 17–900 eV using 1st, 3rd 5th harmonics. monochromator spherical grating type resolving power 400 eV, estimated K-shell photoabsorption N2 molecule well above 10 000. spectra are better than any other taken while operating flux, i.e. order diffraction not masked. Measurements oxygen neon K-edges, argon L23 edges helium double ionization spectra, indicate that excellent 65 870 eV.
