摘要: ABSTRACTBiased decision-making in criminal investigations can impede or arrest the progress of justice. Previous research has not systematically addressed effects professional experience on quality detectives’ decision-making. Using a quasi-experimental design, this study compared investigative decisions made by experienced detectives and novice police officers two countries with markedly different models for development expertise (England Norway). Participants (N = 124) were presented semi-fictitious cases asked to report all relevant hypotheses necessary actions each case.
