摘要: Traditional measurements of glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in clinical practice include the measurement serum creatinine or clearance. Increasing evidence concerning limitation these and trials has resulted efforts to develop technologies that improve GFR. Recent regard have used radioisotopic labeling markers GFR, such as 125I-iothalamate, 51Cr-ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. Limitations radiation exposure well cost considerations for management radioisotopes, including safety, disposal, mailing, deteriorating activity results short shelf life. We report a test 0.5 mL Conray dye injected subcutaneously subsequent nonisotopic (cold) iothalamate by capillary electrophoresis blood urine. GFR using cold compared with standard clearance 125I-iothalamate was 0.99. The method is cost-effective allows avoiding isotopes, problems disposal life isotopes. This technology could allow replacement marker
