摘要: Summary Endocytic cargo and Rab GTPases are segregated to distinct domains of an endosome. These maintain their identity until they undergo fission traffic cargo. It is not fully understood how segregation or proteins maintained along the continuous endosomal membrane what machinery required for fission. Endosomes form contact sites with endoplasmic reticulum (ER) that during trafficking. Here, we show stable contacts between ER endosome at constricted sorting domains, free diffusion limited these positions. We demonstrate site constriction early late endosomes spatially temporally linked ER. Lastly, altering structure dynamics reduces efficiency Together, data reveal a surprising role in defining timing position PaperFlick
