摘要: The aim of the present study is electromagnetic evaluation a ‘four-ring’ double-tuned (DT) birdcage coil designed for head imaging. model consists an inner Low-Pass (LP) and two externally nested High-Pass (HP) birdcage-like coils. LP HP structures are tuned at 23Na 1H Larmor frequency 7 T, respectively. Dimensional parameters varied in order to optimize radio (RF) B 1 + field homogeneity both frequencies. Results show that can be considerably increased by optimizing mutual distance between outer structure length. This result particularly significant case MRI correct ‘intrinsically’ inhomogeneous due short wavelength.
