摘要: Light-scattering and viscosity measurements have been carried out on dilute solutions of poly(4-hydroxystyrene) (PHS) fractions, which were obtained by hydrolysis poly(4-acetoxystyrene) (PAS). The Mark-Houwink-Sakurada equations determined in dioxane, tetrahydrofuran, isobutyl acetate ethyl propionate at 25°C. unperturbed dimension the thermodynamic interaction parameters for PHS various solvents also compared with those previously PAS. It was concluded that hindrance potential rotation around C-C bond main chain is influenced more than expected solely from volume effect side groups, but it within same range found other polar para-substituted polystyrenes. Also, contrast to PAS-solvent system there are significant energetic entropic interactions between segments solvent molecules, arising presence a hydroxyl group chain.
