The correlation between inelastic energy loss and scattering angle in transmission experiments

摘要: Abstract We measure the energy loss as a function of emergence angle, and angular spread for 50–200 keV H + He on 410 A C 170 Al foils. strong dependence has been observed, well an far beyond that predicted by path length enlargement nuclear stopping power. Theoretical expressions previous magnitudes were obtained basis multiple scattering formalism single collision loss-scattering angle Q ( θ ). In addition, procedure is presented to retrieve this -function from experimental data.
