Epigenetic biomarkers in prostate cancer: Current and future uses

摘要: Epigenome alterations are characteristic of nearly all human malignancies and include changes in DNA methylation, histone modifications microRNAs (miRNAs). However, what induces these epigenetic cancer is largely unknown their mechanistic role prostate tumorigenesis just beginning to be evaluated. Identification the involved development progression will not only identify novel therapeutic targets but also prognostic diagnostic markers. This review focus on use as biomarkers for cancer.
