摘要: Human and animal research indicates that exposure to early life adversity increases stress sensitivity later in life. While behavioral markers of adversity-induced have been suggested, physiological remain be elucidated. It is known trapezius muscle activity during stressful situations. The present study examined what degree adverse events experienced childhood (0-11 years) adolescence (12-17 moderate experimentally induced electromyographic (EMG) the muscles, an experimental setting. In a general population sample (n = 115), anticipatory effect was generated by presenting single unpredictable uncontrollable electrical painful stimulus at t 3 minutes. Subjects were unaware precise moment delivery its intensity level. Linear nonlinear time courses EMG modeled using multilevel analysis. protocol included 2 sessions (t 0 6 months) allowing for examination reliability. Results show reactivity paradigm consistently stronger people with higher levels events; had moderating than adolescent adversity. impact on may represent reliable facet can used both clinical nonclinical studies.
