摘要: Abstract Objectives. This study aimed la assess heart rate variability immediately before the onset of episodes spontaneous ventricular tachycardia. Background. It has been shown that decreased may be associated with a propensity to tachyarrhythmias. However, it is still disputed whether there an abrupt change in these arrhythmias. Methods. Twenty-three patients idiopathic tachycardia underwent two-channel 24-h Holter monitoring drug-free state. Spectral was computed as low (0.04 0.15 Hz) and high (0.15 0.40 frequency components at 2-min intervals over 1-h period Average values were also for entire recordings. The low/high component ratio calculated index autonomie balance heart. Results. Seventy-one from 23 recordings formed this study. There increased during 6- 8-min periods compared average 24 h. increase resulted largely decrease value (4.70 ± 1.15 vs. 5.10 1.06 In[ms2] [mean SD], p = 0.001) because no significant (6.37 1.20 6.34 0.91 In[ms2], 0.786, 95% confidence interval −0.25 0.19 type II error Conclusions. autonomic influence on last few minutes preceding seems result mainly vagal activity rather than enhanced sympathetic input
