摘要: The equation of state hard oblate spherocylinders has been calculated for a wide range densities and reduced core diameters (l* = l/σ, where l σ are the diameter disc spherocylinder thickness, respectively) using Monte Carlo method. most accurate representation data is given by resummed virial series based on coefficients up to sixth. Other equations tested found be less accurate. fluid structure discussed in terms centres pair correlation function, surface-surface spherical harmonic expansion function. At high densities, neighbouring molecules pack into short ranged shell about central molecule, analogy with sphere fluid.
