摘要: Virial coefficients have been calculated for hard ellipsoids of revolution covering a wide range shapes, from highly oblate, (length/breadth = 1/10) to prolate, (L/B 10). It is found that prolate and oblate molecules which the same value their Isihara shape factor do not equal values higher virial coefficients, differences can be quite substantial significantly non-spherical shape. For with L/B > 8 fourth coefficient negative, while virials remain positive. Conversely, < 1/6 fifth negative values, A number approaches analytical representations equation state are considered case moderately anisotropic molecules.
