摘要: A case of aggressive angiomyxoma the vulva is reported. 43 year-old woman presented initially in 1987 with a left vulvar mass which clinically was thought to be lipoma or Bartholin gland cyst. Local excision performed after 27 month follow-up without any change size. The resected tumor measured 2.7x2.0x2.0cm and had smooth, glistening myxoid cut surface. Histologically, lesion composed spindle shaped stellate neoplastic cells, were loosely textured fibromyxoid matrix, prominent vascular component characterized by randomly distributed channels variable caliber. Immunohistochemically, ceils positive for vimentin, but not desmin myosin. fine structure cells compatible that fibroblasts rather than myofibroblasts. These findings suggest fibroblastic differentiation this tumor. patient currently well no evidence recurrence, 7 months Acta Pathol Jpn 40: 927–934, 1990.
