Histologically, lesion composed spindle shaped stellate neoplastic cells, were loosely textured fibromyxoid matrix, prominent vascular component characterized by randomly distributed channels variable caliber. Immunohistochemically, ceils positive for vimentin, but not desmin myosin. fine structure cells compatible that fibroblasts rather than myofibroblasts. These findings suggest fibroblastic differentiation this tumor. patient currently well no evidence recurrence, 7 months Acta Pathol Jpn 40: 927–934, 1990.
