摘要: The mammalian cut proteins are a broadly expressed family of nuclear transcription factors related to the Drosophila protein cut. One member family, Cux1, has been shown function as cell cycle dependent factor, regulating expression number regulatory proteins. Cux1 is developmentally regulated in multiple tissues suggesting an important function. exists isoforms that arise from proteolytic processing 200 kD or use alternate promoter. Several mouse models have generated suggest roles for this gene regulation during hair growth, lung development and maturation, genitourinary tract development. Moreover, aberrant may contribute diseases such polycystic kidney disease cancer. In review, we will focus on phenotypes observed five existing transgenic discuss role disease.
