摘要: OBJECTIVES Different inbred mouse strains but also each animal of the same strain show an individually different stress response which is influenced by genetic and environmental factors such as early life experiences. In this study, we investigated consequences mild postnatal exposure on coping style adult BALB/c mice. METHODS We used a model where neonatal mice were repeatedly separated from dam staying with their siblings for 1-h day during first two weeks. The environment maternal separation was adapted to nest (bedding, 37 degrees C warm). RESULTS Adult female BALB/s that underwent protocol or not isolated in exposed combined acoustic restraint adulthood. Repeated performed under ambient conditions increased ability at age 12 weeks when psychological stressors. By stress-induced alterations high corticosterone levels, anti-inflammatory immune conditioning ex vivo hyperinducibility interleukin-10 splenocytes massive loss body weight significantly reduced maternally group compared conventionally bred control CONCLUSIONS Mild modifies more stress-resistant phenotype shows repeated suppression linked release glucocorticoids after exposure.
