摘要: This study focused on the morphological and functional characterization of haemocytes from Octopus vulgaris as first agents responsible for innate immunity. Three major types were identified by light microscopy based nucleus/cytoplasm ratio presence or absence cytoplasm granules: haemoblast-like cells, hyalinocytes granulocytes. The three haemocyte populations was also confirmed flow cytometry. Cytochemical suggests that they perform different activities during humoral responses. Using plate radial diffusion method we demonstrated bactericidal activity in bacteria strains. To investigate soluble biotic compounds antibacterial activity, using a disc minimum inhibitory concentration, have tested methanolic acid extract these cells.
