摘要: Abstract Concentrations of 26 trace elements including essential (Mg, Ca, Cr, V, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Se, Sr and Mo) toxic (As, Cd Pb), were determined in the liver, kidney, brain, hair, muscle, stomach contents small Indian mongooses inhabiting eight areas on three Hawaiian Islands, Oahu, Maui Hawaii. There significant differences concentrations some metals among habitats. Cadmium from macadamia nut orchards Island Hawaii relatively higher than those populations other seven areas. Lead Ukumehame firing range significantly Compared to data reported countries, Pb brain animals islands, but almost similar levels observed liver kidney. Intriguingly, specimens exceeded 3.79 µg g−1 WW, which was mean cerebral level rats that caused symptoms after administration previous study. Furthermore, two fetuses exhibited each their dams. These results prompted us consider potential exposure health effects derived operations mongoose animal species human.
