摘要: The geometric formalism devised by Gibbs in his development of capillary thermodynamics is replaced an algebraic method which no mention made mathematical dividing surfaces. results are therefore free the necessity invariance theorems concerning surfaces, and improve clarity Gibbs' presentation. Using methods, various excess quantities interrelated sets linear equations whose coefficients involve bulk phase properties only. Some new highly curved interfaces derived.
