摘要: Monitoring and assessment of hydrological parameters are the key elements for sustainable development water resources any country. The various components cycle also known as highly dynamic in space time. Quantification using traditional methods provides limited, point based, information which is not sufficient assessing spatio-temporal variations these parameters. Satellite based remote sensing has proven its usefulness effective mapping/retrieval monitoring such precipitation, interception, soil moisture, surface runoff, level river flow, evapotranspiration, change terrestrial storage, etc. This review paper highlights major work done India estimation sensing. basics retrieval techniques, their applications India, validation limitations discussed this paper. progress each technique from conventional optical to advance microwave been presented. integration derived balance land model
