摘要: The spread of Gram-negative bacteria with plasmid-borne extended-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs) has become a worldwide problem. Their prevalence is increasing, both in hospitals and the environment. aim this study was to investigate presence ESBL-positive Enterobacteriaceae municipal sewage their emission ambient air river receiving effluent from wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). In group 455 isolated strains, up 19.8% (90 isolates) were phenotypic ESBL-producers. They detected 63 (100%) samples analyzed, 7 (33.3%) water 10 (23.8%) collected at WWTP area. plasmid-mediated genes encoding beta-lactams resistance almost 10% out WWTP's final effluents above 32% It confirms that those are released into environment, which might facilitate further dissemination among environmental bacteria. Moreover, antibiotic shown be transferrable an Escherichia coli recipient strain, indicates high possibility horizontal gene transfer strains different genera within samples. This demonstrated despite treatment, may reservoir antibiotic-resistant microorganisms genes. pose public health risk, requires future evaluation control.
