摘要: Mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSCs) possess some characteristics of immune cells, including a pro-inflammatory phenotype, an immunosuppressive antibacterial properties and the expression Toll-like receptor proteins. Here we show that, similar to MSCs retain information from danger signals or environmental stimuli for period time. When treated with factors lipopolysaccharide (LPS) tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), display increased IL-6, IL-8 MCP-1. Following re-plating several rounds cell division in absence stimulating factors, MCP-1 remained higher than untreated over 7 days. A spike cytokine secretion occurred when were exposed second round stimulation. We primed LPS LPS-primed had better therapeutic efficacy at promoting skin flap survival diabetic rat model did unprimed MSCs. Finally, found that microRNAs, miR146a, miR150 miR155, along modification DNA by 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC), mediate MSC response TNF-α Collectively, our data suggest have short-term memory signals, which may impact their potential.
