摘要: Lung cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide and has a 5-year survival rate that remains stubbornly at 17%. This disease can be divided into multiple histological molecular subtypes each exhibiting different natural history response to therapy. Recent knowledge about mechanisms underlie lung spurred development rational strategies treat these diseases. Several drugs have emerged from studies are currently approved for treatment specific subsets cancer. Ongoing biology using cell lines, tumor samples, mouse models paired with information genome will lead better understanding new therapies patients.
