Prospects of Scintillator Time-of-Flight Systems

摘要: The best time resolutions obtained so far are reviewed. For small scintillators the r.m.s. resolution is about 40 ps. long scintillators, typically used in particle physics applications, 200 different factors limiting of experiments at LEP an improvement a factor two to five should be possible.
