Continuum excitations of O 26 in a three-body model: 0+ and 2+ states

摘要: The structure and decay dynamics for 0+ 2+ continuum excitations of O26 are investigated in a three-body O24+n+n model. validity simple approximation the cross section profile long-lived 2n emission is demonstrated. A sequence three monopole ("breathing mode" type) excited states predicted. These could probably be interpreted as analogs Efimov pushed due to insufficient binding. calculated energies related excitation spectrum O25. We discuss correlation between predicted experimental observations.
