摘要: Abstract The paper aimed with four forms of cordierite and cordierite–zircon ceramic composites prepared via sintering the pre-ceramics clay mineral mixtures containing vermiculite (V) zirconium–vermiculite (Zr–V) without use long-term grinding procedures. Precursor zircon in was Zr–V from V zirconium salt solution cation exchange. Cordierite pure phase were sintered mixtures. composed spinel enstatite or forsterite at expense Al 2 O 3 MgO. additives contributed to development pores that size about 5 μm. Zircon crystals a ranging 150 nm 1 μm irregularly distributed on matrix surface. Cordierites reinforced comparison their parent cordierites showed lower porosity higher hardness values.
