摘要: Abstract The Zr 4 + –vermiculites were studied in their new role of the zircon precursor clay minerals mixtures which prepared for firing zircon–cordierite nanocomposites. Currently there is a lack data available about structure –vermiculites, on this study was performed. modeling arrangement interlayer material –vermiculite led to findings that water molecules are attracted more strongly by Mg 2 + cations than Zr-tetrameric cations, and both tetrameric [Zr 4 (OH) 14 (H 2 O) 10 ] 8 16 8 + may be present space –vermiculites. Vermiculites from two different localities Czech Republic (Verm1) Brazil (Verm2) intercalated using zirconyl chloride (ZrOCl –30% solution HCl) designated as –Verm1 –Verm2, respectively.
