摘要: Environmental arsenic exposure is associated with increased risk of non-cancerous chronic diseases and a variety cancers in humans. The aims this study were to carry out for the first time health assessment two common routes (drinking water soil ingestion) children living most important agricultural areas Yaqui Mayo valleys Sonora, Mexico. Drinking sampling was conducted wells 57 towns. A cross-sectional done 306 from 13 villages valleys. First morning void urine samples analyzed inorganic (InAs) monomethyl dimethyl (MMA DMA) by HPLC/ICP-MS. results showed wide range levels drinking between 2.7 98.7 μg As/L. Arsenic backyard soils 1 100% towns, carcinogenic (CR) greater than 1E−04 85%. average excreted 31.7 μg As/L, DMA had highest proportion urine, averages 77.8%, followed InAs MMA 11.4 10.9%, respectively, percentages similar those reported literature. Additionally, positive correlations urinary HI values found (r = 0.59, P = 0.000). These indicated that population at high developing including cancer.
