摘要: Appendage regeneration is not a simple task. The animal must harness all of its energy and resources to orchestrate perhaps one the most complicated events since development. Balancing immune response, wound healing, proliferation, patterning differentiation an elegant job, how some animals achieve that still leaves researchers enchanted today. In this work, we review molecular aspects regeneration, with focus on axolotl, champion tetrapod limb mouse, excellent mammalian model for digit tip regeneration. Advances in genomic tools have enabled discovery exciting fundamental features Integrating data from different systems will be crucial understanding common requirements successful appendage places flexibility. combination these efforts paving way grasping good regenerators respond loss body parts, mechanisms might compare modest regenerators, and, ultimately, developing approaches improving regenerative outcomes humans.
