摘要: The ipmPIPE (Integrated Pest Management Information Platform for Extension and Education) was first developed as a response to the threat of soybean rust (SBR), caused by pathogen Phakopsora pachyrhizi . Since that time portfolio has grown include “PIPEs” aphid Aphis glycines Matsumura (now discontinued), legume diseases, cucurbit downy mildew Pseudoperonospora cubensis (Berk. & M.A. Curtis) Rostovzev, pecan nut casebearer Acrobasis nuxvorella Neunzig with scab Cladosporium caryigenum (Ellis Langl.) (Gottwald forecasting in development), Southern corn Puccinia polysora Underw., onion pests. In addition, Western Specialty Crops ipmPIPE, North Central Pennsylvania PIPE each address multiple pest situations found within defined geographic boundaries is development ornamentals will pathogens on hosts. This report explains general concept approach discusses common elements most PIPEs. It provides brief history funding development. Finally, it addresses crosscutting issues including suitability this different crop combinations sustainability.
