摘要: The variation of the optical properties embedded metallic nanoclusters induced by changes their morphology is investigated an approach combining electron microscopy, grazing incidence small angle X-ray scattering and transmission measurements. For this purpose, silver with various shapes (from prolate to oblate) in amorphous Si3N4 matrix are elaborated ion beam sputtering using either a co-deposition process or alternate sputtering. Moreover, post-irradiation Ar+ ions (at different fluences low incident energy 75–100 keV) used complement fabrication order tailor shape. Prolate oblate become then more spherical leading spectral shift surface plasmon resonance.
