Investigation of spectral properties of Eu 3+ and Tb 3+ doped strontium zirconium trioxide orthorhombic perovskite for optical and sensing applications

摘要: In this paper, the structural, morphological and spectral properties of Eu3+ Tb3+ doped strontium zirconium trioxide perovskite phosphors are reported. The samples were synthesized by solid state reaction route with different doping concentrations ions. These characterized PXRD for structural analysis. report orthorhombic structure average crystallite size 48 nm. FESEM HRTEM analysis done here topographical studies. Also, FTIR spectra investigated functional group Photoluminescence thermoluminescence studied. On subjecting to 230 nm excitation, give three distinct emissions 596, 610 690 nm in visible region corresponding 5D0 → 7F1, 7F2 7F4 also subjected CIE Afterglow decay lifetime is recorded as 56.24 ns confirming luminescence characteristics short duration. TL these phosphors, second-order kinetics low activation energy varying from 0.50002 0.65668 eV enhanced optical prepared phosphor substantiate it a proficient alternative photovoltaic, sensing applications.
