摘要: We propose a research agenda that can assist in developing dynamic and comprehensive theory of boards directors. It is based upon the concept temporality, with time being organised around life-cycle metaphor, integrates on agency theory, decision-making resource dependence theory. identify three key roles directors: (1) monitoring controlling top management; (2) involvement strategic decision-making; (3) providing access to resources networks. Our analysis suggests perform all roles, but these change over time. clear researchable questions for each stage organisational life cycle as well transition between stages.
