摘要: The interest in the low-enthalpy geothermal resources is growing, owing to its wide availability, and possibility of overcoming problems related energy storage. Among plants, installation coastal areas open-loop groundwater heat pump (GWHP) systems, that use as fluid, particularly attractive because presence shallow aquifers. Nevertheless, these aquifers are often affected by seawater intrusion, so strict monitoring before GWHP needed check feasibility plant. This work reports a detailed quali-quantitative characterization costal aquifer, Southern Italy, for exploitation very low enthalpy resource. main parameters were monitored assess suitability be used fluid. A long-term pumping test, simulating designed system, was performed evaluate potential impact on intrusion. results revealed plant do not affect equilibrium studied aquifer. Furthermore, study demonstrated methodological approach proper early assessment without affecting intrusion processes, with minimum impact.
