摘要: Rational and intuitive cognitive styles represent two typical manners of acquiring, organizing, processing information. style is data-driven, slow, detailed. Intuitive feelings-driven, fast, global. People have a stable preference for one over the other underlies such processes as decision making (Leonard, Scholl, & Kowalski, 1999). The present study took perspective that an individual difference upon which members team may vary diversity in related to outcomes. Specifically, it was hypothesized would increase task affective conflict, lead lowered similarity teammate’s representations information, but ultimately, improve performance less diverse teams. Teammate’s taking ability moderating variable. hypotheses were tested using three-person teams who completed complex laboratory setting. Linear regression hierarchical moderated multiple used test hypotheses. No support found relationships. One explanation could be research context deviated too much from past analogous. Several results supported previous findings. Contributions future ideas are discussed.
