摘要: SUMMARY The ability to reflect on one’s own action is seen as an important skill for a doctor. A thorough introduction of the portfolio planned in early stages their studies seems be way train medical students reflection.This article describes use portfolios undergraduate training.The literature suggests three aspects that are crucial effectiveness portfolios: structure, coaching and assessment.The system was designed by transposing experience with systems outside inside training situation firstyear students. During academic year 2001‐02 242 first-year compiled portfolio. Student collected semi-structured interviews.The majority were opinion analysing competences instructive meaningful.With regard learning how recognize needs, however, mentor proved necessary.The results thus far show worthwhile addition existing assessment tools.
