摘要: Abstract Straightforward electrochemical methods for determining the transport properties (bulk ionic conductivity, salt diffusion coefficient, and cation transference number) of polymer electrolytes are described herein. The new technique measuring t 0 + is based on concentrated solution theory, requires no assumptions to be made concerning ideality solution. experimental results representative electrolyte systems presented in this paper. Cation numbers found salt-concentration dependent considerably less than unity or even negative over a wide concentration range. This implies that cationic current mainly carried by complexed ions. presence associated species present confirmed Raman spectroscopic evidence. Finally, practical effects cell operation implications device design discussed.
