摘要: Octacalcium phosphate (OCP) has been shown to enhance new bone formation, coupled with its own biodegradation, through osteoblasts and osteoclast-like cell activities concomitant de novo hydroxyapatite (HA) formation serum protein accumulation on surface. However, the nature of chemical environment surrounding OCP how it affects metabolism regulates is unknown. The present study examined degree supersaturation (DS) bovine albumin (BSA) adsorption onto in 150 mM Tris-HCl buffer at 37 °C pH 7.4, by changing Ca2+ ion concentration. amount BSA adsorbed increased as DS increased. In addition, newly formed calcium phosphate, which could be OCP, was increased, not only increases DS, but also lower equilibrium concentrations BSA. capacity likely related OCP. Together results suggested that crystals dependent both value adsorbate concentration, may control surface vivo.
