摘要: This chapter reviews the state-of-the-art in study of molecular or colloidal systems whose mutual interactions are mediated by DNA molecules. In last decade, robust current knowledge has enabled an impressive growth self-assembled DNA-based structures that depend crucially on properties DNA–DNA interactions. many cases, built design exploiting programmable selectivity and modularity their strength. The materials is definitely emerging field condensed matter physics, nanotechnology, material science. will consider both entirely constructed hybrid which latex metal particles coated strands. We confine our discussion to DNA-mediated promote formation “phases,” extending length scales much larger than building blocks. Their self-assembly typically involves a large number interacting often features hierarchical stages structuring. Because possibility fine-tuning geometry strength interactions, these characterized wide variety patterns self-assembly, ranging from amorphous, liquid crystalline, crystalline one, two, three dimensions.
