摘要: Corneal dystrophies are categorized according to the International Committee for Classification of Dystrophies (IC3D) classification, and their treatment depends on affected structures layer cornea. Therefore, estimating depth extent morphological changes due specific dystrophy is crucial when deciding between different options. Besides superficial laser treatments penetrating keratoplasty, minimal invasive lamellar keratoplasties such as Descemet membrane endothelial deep anterior or stripping automated keratoplasty have become increasingly popular exchange opaque layers in dystrophic eyes. To determine cornea dystrophies, addition slit-lamp examination, segment optical coherence tomography has an important tool with nearly histological resolution. Nonetheless, only a few case series describe characteristics seen tomography. we summarize signs correlate well histopathological findings, corneal IC3D classification.
