摘要: Summary Acid-soluble collagen (procollagen), treated with hydroxylamine (“hydroxam-collagen”) and parent gelatine of calf origin, both from skin joint capsule-periarticular connective tissue, were used to immunize rabbits. These preparations similar ones prepared rabbits test the resultant antisera in passive hemagglutination, along ovalbumin bovine γ-globulin as specificity controls. The various examined for their content hydroxyproline, tyrosine, hexoses, uronic acid nitrogen. Procollagen induced mainly formation species-specific antibodies, reacting also hydroxam-collagen same species. Hydroxam-collagen antibodies a new specificity, that against preparation after treatment. Hyperimmune sera reacted only “hydroxam”-collagens. Early immune sera, however, showed cross-reactions gelatine. Parent derivatives, having no species showing broad spectrum reactivity collagens. Used serologic testing, displayed properties specificity. No differences found between made tissue. Hemagglutination-inhibition experiments performed addition. results confirmed observations direct hemagglutination: Hemagglutinating systems anti-procollagen calf-collagen inhibited by (calf) hydroxam-collagen. early anti-hydroxam-collagen hydroxamcollagen significantly hydroxam-collagen, less distinctly Identical hyperimmune anti-parent or hydroxam different origin all derivatives independently tissue origin. obtained are discussed view our present knowledge about structure its derivatives.
