摘要: Abstract The cure and consolidation of thermoset composite materials is a complex physical process involving combined heat transfer, resin curing, fibre bed compaction fluid flow. Finite difference simulations for either the transfer part this or flow can be found in literature. present paper develops implements finite element form equations governing composites processing successfully combines modelling through temperature-dependent viscosity. Specifically, (i) sets up Fourier conduction equation Gutowski/Dave Ritz formulation, (ii) overviews computer implementation these (iii) presents selected output results to demonstrate engineering value simulation program. An autoclave analysed as test case. illustrate that developed code (FCURE) existing mathematical models with versatility method into tool potential.
