Pedagogical encounters between nurses and patients in a medical ward--a field study

摘要: Abstract Background Patient teaching is regarded as an important aspect of nursing care well essential part the profession. In practice, a distinction can be made between formal (planned) and informal (spontaneous) patient teaching. The major research within area spite fact that spontaneous occurs in everyday there lack knowledge this area. Objectives aim was to illuminate pedagogical dimensions situations Design study fieldwork frames life-world phenomenological tradition. Twelve patients suffering from various chronic diseases interviewed. Methods observations comprised total 173h on 34 separate occasions. Informal dialogues carried through.
