Most an unfavorable cardiovascular adverse effect profile, and SCD may occur even patients no risk factors.Areas covered: This clinical overview summarizes safety by focusing on wide range effects. In addition, we also discuss current guidelines regarding routine electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring.Expert opinion: As is multifactorial, contribution from antipsychotic remains largely unknown.
