摘要: During the last decade, significant research has been conducted using prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in basic and clinical sciences many advances have occurred use of PSA for detecting monitoring prostate cancer (PCa). Separation methods including gel-permeation chromatography, isoelectric focusing, lectin-affinity polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis high-performance liquid chromatography made contributions to discovery identification different molecular forms PSA. Furthermore, measurement free total improved ability detect early PCa. However, unnecessary biopsies are still needed men with slightly elevated values. On other hand, is not adequate staging newly diagnosed PCa prognosticating course individual cases. The possible application separation science may be associated more cancer-specific discoveries serum proteins useful only detecting, but also Such novel markers might lead a better understanding aggressiveness developments field treatment.
